Silent Owner; Stupid Finder

I’m sure most of you must have heard the saying: Lost but found. Silent owner… I sure didn’t pay attention to the meaning of this and just joined the chorus back in elementary school (and maybe high school). Infact its now almost reflex.

But let’s go back to the 2 parties involved:

Silent Owner: Why will anybody want to keep quiet when what’s been lost turns up – announced by a good samaritan? Two things come to mind #1. He is not there at the time of the announcement, so silence bred by abscence. #2. He is ashamed of identifying with the recovered item…. wait a second, a #3 just came to mind: Perhaps the item is negligible.

(To be Contd)

P.S. This is the first of the #YingYang series. Find more on The Stupid Finder in next update.
